ADVault Rebrands, MyDirectives Now Live

ADVault, Inc., a trailblazer in digital advance care planning (ACP) tools, has just announced the launch of its newly redesigned flagship platform, MyDirectives®. Alongside this exciting update, the company has also undergone a name and logo change. Today marks the official transition to MyDirectives, a change aimed at better aligning with the company's mission of providing tools to ensure easy access to a person's medical treatment goals, preferences, and priorities whenever and wherever they are needed.

At the core of the MyDirectives suite of solutions is a user-friendly, web-based application that allows anyone to create, upload, store, and share a wide range of advance healthcare decision documents, all completely free of charge. This application has been completely reimagined and underwent a thorough overhaul to improve the user experience, accessibility, and inclusivity, especially for underserved communities. Additionally, the MyDirectives platform serves as the foundation for other MyDirectives solutions used by healthcare providers and payers in collaboration with their patients and members.

According to Scott Brown, the president and CEO of MyDirectives, the decision to rebrand was prompted by the company's evolution. "The name ADVault is derived from 'advance directives vault,' and it specifically refers to our registry and repository for advance care planning documents, portable medical order forms like POLST or DNR forms, and other documents such as mental health directives," explained Brown. "When we made the decision almost a year ago to redesign our award-winning MyDirectives solution, it became clear that our company identity should reflect our primary goal of capturing and storing all types of advance healthcare decision documents for consumers, ensuring accessibility during critical care moments. In an emergency or end-of-life situation, it is crucial to provide access to these important documents to a person's care team, whether it's first responders, doctors, hospitals, or family members. MyDirectives makes that happen seamlessly and securely."
