Insight Enterprises (NASDAQ: NSIT) is at the forefront of testing next-generation AI-enabled Windows devices following Microsoft's recent announcement. Collaborating with Microsoft and Qualcomm, Insight is among the pioneers in adopting Windows-based AI PCs, featuring dedicated neural processing units (NPU) powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite processors. These devices, including those from Microsoft Surface, Dell, HP, and Lenovo, will leverage the new Windows 11 AI experience, enhancing tasks with the updated Copilot+.

As a Microsoft Solution partner with expertise in Security, Data & AI, Insight is part of a select group testing the next-gen Surface Laptop and evaluating critical features like software performance and compatibility. Moreover, Insight is exploring AI PCs powered by AMD and Intel, noting improvements in performance and efficiency.

Insight's CEO, Joyce Mullen, emphasizes their clients' eagerness to adopt generative AI, highlighting the transformative potential of these advancements. With support ending for Windows 10 in 2025, outdated devices pose security risks, making the transition to AI-enabled devices crucial.
