JFrog Teams with Datadog on Cloud Migration
JFrog Ltd. (Nasdaq: FROG), creators of the JFrog Software Supply Chain Platform, announced a new integration with Datadog, the observability and security platform for cloud applications. This integration enhances visibility into logs for JFrog-managed Artifactory instances in the cloud. The JFrog SaaS Log Streamer integration with Datadog enables users to prioritize critical logs, focusing on actions with the greatest business impact.
"Enterprises need high trust in their cloud environments for rapid DevOps workload migration, as software is essential infrastructure," said Gal Marder, EVP of Strategy at JFrog. "This integration with Datadog provides DevOps teams with maintenance-free infrastructure and comprehensive visibility using their preferred observability tools."
Gartner predicts that by 2025, 85% of organizations will adopt a cloud-first strategy, with 95% of new digital workloads on cloud-first platforms. The JFrog SaaS Log Streamer with Datadog accelerates cloud migration by centralizing log data, accessible from pre-built Datadog dashboards. The integration offers visibility into:
- JFrog Artifactory-Request Logs: Tracks incoming requests, providing insights into artifact demand.
- Access Logs: Details access attempts, enhancing security by identifying access patterns.
- Datadog Log Management: Unifies logs, metrics, and traces for rich analysis, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and security investigation.
"Cloud migrations complicate troubleshooting, but this integration simplifies operations, providing contextual insights and correlating logs with metrics," said Pranay Kamat, Director of Product Management at Datadog.
