Tecnotree, People+AI: Advancing Cloud & AI

 

Tecnotree, a leading global provider of AI, 5G, and cloud-native technologies, has recently announced its collaboration with people+ai, an initiative by the non-profit EkStep Foundation. This partnership is focused on joining the Open Cloud Compute (OCC) project.

The OCC project consists of a network of interconnected micro data centers. In order to strengthen India's compute power infrastructure, it is estimated that around 10,000 micro data centers will be required. This network will bring computing capabilities closer to end users, resulting in faster processing, reduced latency, and enhanced data sovereignty.

Tecnotree's partnership with the OCC initiative is aimed at shaping the future of AI in India. They plan to achieve this by implementing an API abstraction layer that aligns with telecom standards. Through this collaboration, they aim to create a one-stop shop for AI, Cloud, and 5G services, providing a comprehensive solution to meet the evolving needs of the industry.
